What makes this different
A post that knows what the shelter knows.
A post stores an id and nothing else. Capacity, urgency and outcome are resolved from TIMOMAX’s own tables at the moment the page renders, so a figure in a post can never be older than the post you are reading, and an animal who has been placed shows the outcome instead of the original ask. The panel below shows what that looks like, using invented organisations — this page is connected to no database, so nothing in it was reported by anybody.
There is no worked example here because TIMOMAX has no posts to draw one from yet. When a shelter posts, the capacity and outcome you see in that post will be read from TIMOMAX’s tables at the moment you load the page — not copied into the post when it was written.
