TIMOMAX Wellness & Longevity

A longer life, and a better one.

Evidence-based writing on preventive care, nutrition, healthy ageing and the research actually underway in veterinary longevity — where every substantive claim is graded by how well it is established, and the ones that are not established say so.

Established

Veterinary consensus, reflected in professional guidelines. Not seriously disputed.

Supported by study

A specific published study found this. The study is named, with its size and design, and one study is not a consensus.

Preliminary

Early work: small, unreplicated, in progress, or not yet peer reviewed. It may not hold.

Not demonstrated

Widely marketed or widely believed, without controlled evidence in this species showing it works. Not the same as disproven — it means nobody has shown it.

How to read this section

What each label promises.

Pet longevity is one of the most heavily marketed subjects there is. A supplement with no controlled trial and a drug in regulatory review read identically once both are set in a serif face on a beautiful page — and the beautiful page makes them more credible, not less. These labels exist so the design cannot do that work.

On veterinary review

No article in this library is labelled Veterinary Reviewed. TIMOMAX has not yet engaged a reviewing veterinarian, and the label means a named, licensed professional actually read the piece — so until that is true, nothing carries it. Everything here is written and fact-checked by TIMOMAX's editorial process against the sources cited on each page, and that is a weaker claim, deliberately stated as one.

  • Veterinary Reviewed

A named, licensed veterinary professional read this article and confirmed it before publication. Their name, credentials and review date are printed on the page. TIMOMAX does not apply this label to anything a veterinarian has not actually read.

  • Research Summary

A summary of published research. The study, its size, its design and its stated limitations are named in the article, and the original paper is linked. A summary is not a recommendation.

  • Educational

General education drawn from established veterinary guidance and consensus sources. It is not advice about your animal, and it is not a substitute for a veterinary examination.

  • Emerging Research

Preliminary or in-progress science. Something in this article is not established: a trial has not reported, a drug is not approved, or a finding has not been replicated. The article says which.

Nothing sponsored is ever recommended

Sponsored articles are readable here and marked as sponsored. Ask TIMOMAX will not return one in answer to a question about your animal, and none reaches the TIMOMAX homepage.

No reading list on an emergency

If a question carries emergency or distress signal, Ask TIMOMAX returns no articles at all. Offering something to read implies there is time to read it.

This is education, not diagnosis

Nothing here is advice about your animal. TIMOMAX is not a veterinarian, cannot examine anything, and the confident reassuring answer is the more dangerous of the two errors it could make.
