TIMOMAX Intelligence

Follow the Money

Explore public spending connected to animals and animal welfare.

TIMOMAX organises publicly available government records for informational and transparency purposes. Inclusion of an organisation or award does not imply wrongdoing, endorsement, or a judgment about the effectiveness of the expenditure.

Grant finder

The intel.grants and intel.grant_matches tables are migrated and ready, and migration 0019 adds the dataset registry, ingestion runs and row-level lineage that any opportunity would be stored with. No opportunities are listed because none have been ingested, and TIMOMAX will not populate this page with invented deadlines that a rescue might plan around.

The datasets that would fill it are named below — publisher, format, and the exact step that connects each one.

Requires external serviceOpen funding opportunities

TIMOMAX cannot list a single open opportunity, and will not invent a deadline a rescue might plan around.

1 dataset would fill this. Each is named below with its publisher and the exact step that connects it.

  • Requires external serviceFederal · United States

    Grants.gov funding opportunities

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, on behalf of the federal grant-making agencies · JSON API · updates daily

Not yet confirmed against the publisher: the API endpoint, the column mapping.

    How this is obtained

Open https://www.grants.gov/search-grants, use the site's own API documentation link to record the current search endpoint and request body, then record the response field names. Do not carry over an endpoint from an older integration — the site has been rebuilt and paths moved.

No credential is required to read this publisher.

Open U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, on behalf of the federal grant-making agencies's own page

Until it is connected TIMOMAX shows nothing here. It does not show a zero, an example row or a projection, because a figure this product cannot check is a figure it has no business printing.

Requires external serviceProgramme eligibility from the government's own classification

Matching falls back to keyword rules TIMOMAX wrote, which are weaker than the agency's own Assistance Listing and are marked as such wherever they appear.

    Assistance Listings (formerly CFDA)

U.S. General Services Administration · JSON API · updates irregular

Not yet confirmed against the publisher: the API endpoint, the column mapping.

    How this is obtained

Register for a SAM.gov data services API key, then record the Assistance Listings endpoint and its response fields from SAM.gov's own data services documentation.

    Needs a credential: SAM_API_KEY

Open U.S. General Services Administration's own page

Until it is connected TIMOMAX shows nothing here. It does not show a zero, an example row or a projection, because a figure this product cannot check is a figure it has no business printing.

What this page will do once those datasets are connected

  • Match on the organisation's real profile

Species accepted, service area, medical capability and size — the same facts the placement engine already holds, so a rescue fills nothing in twice.

  • Show why a grant matched

The same explainable factor list used everywhere else in TIMOMAX: eligible state ✓, cat welfare focus ✓, deadline 48 days away ✓.

  • Never invent a deadline

A missed deadline because TIMOMAX displayed a stale one is worse than showing nothing. Every opportunity carries its source URL and the date it was last verified.

  • Separate federal from private

Grants.gov and USAspending forecasts are public records. Foundation programmes are not, and will be marked as manually maintained with a last-checked date.

  • Carry the same seven fields as every other figure

Source, agency, jurisdiction, reporting period, dataset URL, retrieval date and amount kind. A ceiling on an open opportunity is not money awarded, and it will not be shown as though it were.
